Meet Yasmin, Culinary Director of Dinnerly
Yasmin, mother of two, had a passion for food at a young age. Watching her parents cook at home and tasting global cuisines as her family travelled the world, she quickly tried and learnt many new recipes.
Over the last 10 years, Yasmin (or Yas, as we like to call her), has worked for a roll call of leading Australian magazine titles, TV shows and radio programs.
Not to mention, she’s an author! Yasmin has written two best-selling cookbooks – 7000 Islands: Cherished Recipes and Stories from the Philippines and The Desserts of New York (And How To Eat Them All).
We can certainly say she knows her way around the kitchen and cakes, too. Regularly referenced as ‘The Cake Queen’, we’re extremely happy to have her in our team of passionate chefs, leading the team creating your Dinnerly recipes.
As a busy mother, Yasmin knows first hand the importance of bringing fast, fresh and tasty dinners to the table for her young kids. Her favourite Dinnerly recipe? “There are so many to choose from! I know it’s a bit cheeky, but I do love our Pork Sausage and Caramelised Onion Pizza with Smoked Cheddar and so do my husband and kids!”
