We know it’s hard to get those final bits of mustard out of an almost-empty jar, but don’t chuck it out, our clever little hack means you can use your empties and make a delish salad dressing too!
The easiest way to make a super tasty (and waste-free!) salad dressing
Easy, quick and game-changing, our Head of Culinary, Yasmin Newman, is teaching you our tried-and-tested kitchen hacks! Don’t chuck out that empty mustard jar – shake it up with two parts oil, one part vinegar and hey, presto – you’ve got a delish salad dressing that uses up the last of the mustard, too.
It also works for other jarred items! Try it with the last of the mayonnaise, leftover chutney, sweet chilli sauce, honey – basically anything in a jar that you want to add to a dressing or marinade! It truly is the best way to use up the last remnants of the jar.
